PILOTS: ULTRA-THIN, SPACE SAVING
WRITING SURFACE DESIRABLE
Flight Instructor concurs
Orlando, Florida - June, 05 2008 – It is common practice for pilots to
keep flight records, take notes of special instructions given by ATC and
track vital flight statistics using a writing surface traditionally
mounted on the thigh. Today’s cockpit confined space and the amount of
work load required by pilots makes cockpit management vital for both
safety and comfort. According to commercial flight instructor Juan Orosco
“This cumbersome writing surface takes up valuable leg room and hinders
stick movement, it almost becomes a safety issue to have something
strapped to your knee”.
2H Innovations’ ArmBoard provides agronomical, space saving writing
surface as natural to wear as a wrist watch. After flight testing Juan
commented “no matter how large or small the cockpit is, the ArmBoard truly
frees up much needed space”.
Designed by pilots for pilots the ArmBoard’s comfort and ease of
operations allows for extended ware and appealed to seasoned as well as
student pilots after its initial private testing at Orlando’s Executive
Airport. The product is slated to hit the shelf mid July.
2H Innovations is family owned and operated in Orlando FL. The company was
formed to develop and bring to market the new innovative ArmBoard. The
constrictiveness and large area needed to accommodate a traditional knee
board is too uncomfortable for pilots. After noticing flight instructors
using the back of their hand to take notes of special instructions during
flight, the idea of a writing surface mounted on the arm immerged. We take
pride in our product and stand behind its quality and guaranteed
functionality. The ArmBoard is like nothing you’ve ever used during
flight; it’s everything a traditional knee board delivers minus the space
and discomfort.
